Reporting Manager: Logistics Manager
**Role Purpose**:
The individual will be responsible for ensuring that all the processes related to Export - Import of shipments in the Company is accurately followed, verification of documentations is as per the requirements specified by the stakeholders, dispatches are coordinated and completed on time, all paper work related to the department is completed, filed and updated in the ERP system, documentation for bank submission is prepared and verified, updating all stakeholders (internal and external) about the status of the work done.
**Responsibilities**:
Export Documentation:
- Prepare all necessary Export documentation as per the industry norms and Company requirements as per the requirement.
- Ensure all documentation complies with International Trade regulations and Company policies.
Communication & Coordination:
Co-ordination for Successful Shipment Delivery:
- Coordinate with Custom House Agents (CHA) to ensure timely and accurate custom clearance process is completed, and address any issues.
- Coordinate with Courier and Freight forwarding companies (as per the available list) to ensure all shipments are managed as per the given timelines and inform the stakeholders (Internal) about the status of the same.
- Ensure the pick-ups are planned as per the schedules, monitor and track the shipments with the delivery partner to provide stakeholders with real-time updates, resolve any issues that arise, and inform Reporting Manager of the same.
Coordination with Internal Stakeholders:
- Work closely with the Inside Sales Team to ensure all the important related documentation concerning the Customer Order is prepared and update the information to the respective stakeholder (Inside Sales Team member).
- Once it is completed, ensure that the dispatch process for the same is executed and the status is updated to the stakeholder.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to verify the availability of the required stock as per instructions from Inside Sales team to ensure the delivery is done within the specified timeline with complete accuracy.
Document submission to Banks:
- Prepare the required Import Export Documentations to be submitted to the Banks to ensure closure of international transactions for the shipment received & sent.
Rate negotiation & Logistics and CHA bills checking
- Communicate with Courier and Freight forwarding companies on regular basis to ensure a competitive rate is negotiated for all Company dispatches.
- Ensure regular review and accurate verification of logistics and CHA bills are done as per the agreed rate contract before sending it for payment processing and also uploaded to the ERP system.
- Check the rate contract agreement for validity of the terms while doing this."
**Competencies & Skills required**:
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure to meet the timelines for completion
- Good understanding of Export Import terms and processes (CHA way of working)
- Able to work in a team and collaborate with others
- Positive attitude, pleasant personality
- MS office skills (Word, Excel)
- Go-getter and pro-active approach
**Education**:
- Any graduate
**Work Experience**:
- Min 2 years of experience is export-import industry with knowledge of the relevant processes
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
