Legal Intern

Job Overview:
We are seeking a legal intern who is interested in contract design and drafting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting contracts and agreements that support the operations of our playschool franchise business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and gather information on relevant laws and regulations to inform contract design.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including franchise owners, managers, and staff, to ensure contracts accurately reflect the needs of the business.
- Draft clear and concise contracts and agreements that are easy to understand and follow.
- Ensure that all contracts are in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Review and revise existing contracts and agreements to ensure they remain up-to-date and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside legal counsel, as needed.
- Present drafts of contracts and agreements to senior management for review and feedback.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a law degree program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with contract law and the contract drafting process.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passion for contract design and drafting.

This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for 1-2 months. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment.
