**Responsibilities**
Extensive market research is performed to discern potential customers, competitors, and prevailing market trends. Market requirements and opportunities are thoroughly analyzed, and technologies are strategically aligned with the dynamic demands of the market.
Novel technologies originating from internal R&D efforts or external sources are assessed to determine their commercial viability, technical feasibility, and relevance to the market.
Robust business strategies are created to drive the commercialization of technologies, encompassing the identification of potential licensing opportunities, partnerships, joint ventures, or the establishment of spin-off companies.
Compelling marketing materials, including technology fact sheets, presentations, and whitepapers, are generated to effectively showcase technologies to potential partners, investors, and licensees.
Collaborative efforts are engaged in with stakeholders to negotiate and conclude licensing agreements, partnerships, or any other commercialization arrangements.
Close collaboration with legal and intellectual property (IP) teams is maintained to evaluate the intellectual property landscape concerning the technologies under consideration. Potential patent opportunities are identified, existing patents are assessed, and recommendations for safeguarding and protecting IP rights are provided.
The lead is taken in guiding cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth technology transfer process and the successful implementation of commercialization plans.
Pertinent regulations and compliance requirements concerning technology commercialization are kept up-to-date, and strict adherence to industry standards and legal obligations is guaranteed.
Funding opportunities, grants, and government programs aimed at bolstering technology commercialization endeavors are detected and actively pursued.
- Meticulous upkeep of precise records, reports, and documentation pertaining to all technology commercialization activities is ensured.Qualification & skills
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Administration, Technology Management, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (Master's or MBA) is a plus
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology commercialization, technology transfer, or a related role, preferably within a research-focused organization or tech-driven industry. Experience with securing funding, grants, or investment for technology commercialization projects is an advantage
