**Job SKills & Responsibilities required**:
01. Strong command on understanding spoken language, including various US English accent.
02. Good vocabulary, and grammatical skills.
03. Listening, written communication and typing skills are the main capabilities that successful Transcriptionists should possess
04. Be comfortable working with Medical, call centers, conversational and other types of data.
05. The Transcriptionist should be comfortable in work on different languages and accents like English (US), English (Indian), Hindi, etc.
06. Type letters, correspondence, and other documentation.
07. Transcribers need to listen carefully to audio recordings and interpret them appropriately
08. Transcribers must work quickly but efficiently, keeping tight deadlines and managing their time effectively
09. Word-processing software and audio players are tools that are regularly used by transcribers, so applicants for this role need to be comfortable using computers and different types of programs
10. In order to create accurate transcripts, transcribers need to have a good understanding of the English language and grammar
11. Transcribers listen to recorded dictations to interpret and transcribe them, translating any industry-specific terminology into long-form text, such as medical terminology or legal terms
12. Transcribers review drafts prepared by speech recognition software, ensuring that it’s correct and complete, and making any edits for accuracy and consistency in style

**Education/Experience**:
A high school diploma, Bachelors or Masters degree. Demonstrated proficiency in typing, and appropriate linguistic skills. Prior transcription experience will be preferred.
