**Job Description: Project Coordinator for Cyber Security Team**
**Overview**: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to join our Cyber Security Team. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating the successful execution of various cyber security projects within our organization. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of cyber security concepts and strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning and Coordination**:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Ensure all project requirements and objectives are clearly defined and communicated.
- **Resource Management**:
- Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution.
- Monitor resource allocation and utilization to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Proactively address and resolve issues as they arise to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- **Communication and Reporting**:
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress.
- Prepare and distribute status reports, meeting minutes, and documentation as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and information dissemination.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with cyber security policies and regulations.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and coordinate testing and validation processes.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience (X years) in project coordination or management within the cyber security domain.
- Strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) and/or Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
