**Job Summary**:
The Hospital Calling Staff is responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls to and from patients, families, medical staff, and external agencies. Their main tasks include appointment scheduling, follow-up calls, patient satisfaction surveys, and general information dissemination. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient communication between the hospital and its stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and satisfaction surveys.
- Receive inbound calls and provide accurate information regarding hospital services, appointments, and directions.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using the hospital’s management system.
- Document call interactions, inquiries, and complaints thoroughly and accurately.
- Transfer calls to the appropriate departments and escalate unresolved issues.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital privacy policies (e.g., HIPAA).
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
- Assist during high call volume periods and emergencies.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software (MS Office, hospital databases).
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based role within a hospital environment.
- May require working in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Requires long periods of sitting and speaking on the phone.

Pay: ₹10,895.33 - ₹26,949.52 per month
