At Hoonartek, the focus is always on delivery and value.- We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Metadata Hub Expert with hands on experience on Ab Initio Metadata Hub to join our team. **Key Responsibilities** - Hands on Experience on Ab Initio Metadata hub, Express>It, Data Quality Framework, Data Catalog, GDE ,Semantic Discovery with latest version. - Good knowledge of Ab Initio latest releases. - Proven ability to customize tools to meet unique business requirements. - Excellent knowledge of Ab initio Metadata Hub features Object Model, Import process, Technical Lineage, Business Lineage, Business Glossary, Dynamic Attributes, Semantic Discovery, Reference Data, Issue Management, Data Catalog, Metadata Reports, Knowledge Graph, Workflow Management. - Capability to build custom extractors. - Knowledge of Data Governance framework DPDP compliance, GDPR. **Job Requirement** **1. Ab Initio Metadata Hub Expertise** - Design, implement, and maintain metadata solutions using Ab Initio Metadata Hub. - Manage and enhance metadata-driven processes to improve data discoverability and governance. **2. Data Lineage and Data Quality** - Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage to provide transparency across systems. - Ability resolve dependency analysis issues. - Implement data quality checks and monitor data quality frameworks to ensure data integrity and compliance. **3. Data Catalog and Stewardship** - Build and manage a comprehensive data catalog to facilitate data accessibility. - Capability to define DG council and allocate ownership to assets accordingly. **4. Unix Scripting and Database Management** - Good knowledge of Unix shell script and database. **5. Customization and Workflow Management** - Customize Ab Initio Metadata Hub to meet business-specific requirements. - Capability to create custom extension sets. - Develop and manage workflows to optimize data operations and governance. **Additional Skills**: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Ability to conduct trainings and mentor team. - Prepare documentation and training materials. - Good to have knowledge of various enterprise data catalog tools like Alation, Microsoft Purview, Collibra. - Good to have knowledge of cloud concepts.
