Project Role :Database Administrator

Project Role Description:
1. Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases.

2. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management.

3. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Job Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
A: Server License key installation

B: Understand the protocol for EME creation upgrade to the latest version

C: Deployment process, code migration across multiple environments like SITUAT

D: Creating new projects in the EME and User administration

E: Changing permissions of the project owner of the projects on the EME

F: Understand the Job scheduler tool like AutoSys setup for all environmentG: Understand any specific alert monitoring activities for space usage, package installed on the server

Technical Experience:
A:4-5 yrs exp in coordination with UNIX SA team to install any tools PWP, sows, etc, software Ab Initio, oracle client, etc on the AI servers

B: 4-5 yrs exp in Multifile system, MFS creation and change based on needs

C: Well versed in UNIX commands and UNIX architecture

D: Well versed in Creation the sandboxes for the users Strong knowledge on AIR commands, Metadata hub and Co-Operating system

E: Troubleshooting Incident management and problem management Co-ordinate with AI/Autosys vendors
