As a Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations in our café, ensuring high-quality food preparation, menu development, and kitchen management. You will collaborate closely with the management team to deliver a delightful dining experience to our customers.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Menu Planning and Development:*
- Design and develop seasonal menus that align with the café's theme and customer preferences.
- Ensure menu items are cost-effective, innovative, and attractive to customers.

2. *Food Preparation and Cooking:*
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold standards.
- Manage food inventory and control waste.

3. *Kitchen Management:*
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, food preparation, and staff management.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards and efficient workflows.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation practices.

4. *Supplier Management:*
- Source and select ingredients from reliable suppliers, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Negotiate prices and manage relationships with vendors to optimize costs.

5. *Customer Relations:*
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address customer concerns and feedback promptly.
- Maintain a positive dining experience through quality food and service.

*Skills and Qualifications:*
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a café or similar establishment.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant field is a plus.
