**Responsibilities**

Children educated through Experiential Education are more caring, more imaginative and more
creative. They form deep connections with each other, and with the world around them.
As a Homeroom Teacher for Pre-primary children (3 & 4 year olds), your primary responsibility
will be to facilitate their learning, through music, dance, theater, stories, art and exploration. You
will be researching, facilitating and implementing the Inquiry Based Learning from the
Creative Curriculum. You will also get to work on the revolutionary Wooden Block Building
program, which is an integral part of the Nursery & KG1.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Implementing a progressive pre-primary curriculum (based on the

Inquiry-Based-Learning pedagogy)
- Developing strong one-to-one relations with students and parents
- Maintaining a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
- Detailed documentation of daily practices.
- Preparation of materials and setting up of play areas
- Helping students take charge of their own learning
- Maintaining observational records of every student progress for report card
- Detailed documentation of daily practices
- Modifying teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students
- Publishing your work
- Conducting parent-teacher meetings and publish monthly newsletters

Additional responsibilities include:

- Supervising students out of class, such as in the hallways
- Participating in parent outreach / marketing initiatives
- Admissions counseling

**Prerequisites**
- Prior Experience of at least two years in teaching pre-primary children
- Excellent oral & written English
- Love for learning and passionate about research
- Flexible, friendly and good at establishing quick rapport with students
- Ability to work in teams
- Humility

**Monthly Salary (CTC)**
Rs.20,000 - 25,000.
