**Technology**
- **WAN Topologies**: Identify and correct chronic issues associated with WAN / LAN. Manage configuration files. Acquire knowledge & provide training to others on new products, technologies and certify. Identify venues where it can benefit in bringing new business.
- **SDWAN Technology**: Deploy, Troubleshoot, Implement SDWAN Networks based on Fortinet product.
- **Network Security**: Configure & Verify Firewalls, IPSec Tunnels, SSL/HTTPS, TCP/IP, LoadBalancers, VPN devices hardware and software operation using all commands. Strong knowledge on all functionalities of policies/Public-Private security authentications.
- **Tools**: knowledge/hands-on experience on various tools including open source used in the enterprise networks like Entuity, NetScout, BigPanda and Remedy/Service-Now ticketing systems and process flow.
- **Programing/Scripting**: Any programming/DevOps skills knowledge/hands-on would be added advantages

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES**
- High level deliverables in Network & Security including SDWAN Technologies, Cisco Nexus Appliances, FortiGate/Cisco/PaloAlto NGFW, F5 LTM, Leaf-Spine/3-Tier Architecture, Routing & Switching, Gateway Load Balancing, Various VPN Technologies, WAN Technologies, Wireless LAN Infrastructure, PKIs & Digital Certificates, Network management/monitoring and Automation using SNMP/sFlow/netconf/telemetry etc.,
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Customer’s Network Infrastructure through tickets
- Work on different type of issues through tickets and resolve tickets for software, hardware and networking issues.
- In case of issue not resolved within a specified period, escalate to next level for assistance
- Planning & Implementation of CRQs by strictly following Customer’s Change Management Process for any Network related changes
- Engineer to plan changes to a wide range of switches/routers across Customer’s network to remediate any issue in network and perform the activities during planned & approved maintenance window.
- Create tickets with ISPs in case of Backbone/Remote site links flap or down events and continue to follow up until resolution/root cause provided.
- Work with different Service owners within Customer’s environment to come up with a plan to execute a change that may affect them.
- Periodic status update & clear communication of any Network issues to several Team of Customer over mail/chat.
- Escalate to Customer’s Network team in case of any discrepancy in Network monitoring and provide/suggest solution. E.g.: Not receiving alerts, enormous alerts from a specific site, repetitive alerts etc.,
- **Knowledge Management**: Assist team members in providing information and knowledge sharing, Train/Mentor the new hires in the team, create KB articles
- **Operations**: Compliance to set Process, provide on-call Support, SLA & SLOs, Project/Program Guidelines, Participate in all type training sessions
- Improve security, stability, scalability, speed, and customer satisfaction of the various technology platforms
- Work on cross-technology platform initiatives New technologies
- Document SOPs for downstream teams
- Follow ITIL processes for day-to-day activities Shifts
