**Position Overview**:
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall operation of the resort’s housekeeping department. This role ensures that the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency are maintained across all areas.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
- Supervise and support housekeeping staff in performing their duties, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to resort standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and staff areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
- Manage inventory control for cleaning supplies, linens, and guest room amenities. Ensure stock levels are maintained and orders are placed when necessary.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to address guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene protocols in all housekeeping operations.
- Assist in scheduling and training housekeeping staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork across shifts.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the housekeeping department follows all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and managing departmental expenses.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on housekeeping operations, including maintenance requests and inventory levels.
- Oversee the deep cleaning process and seasonal cleaning schedules to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the resort.
- Assist in managing laundry operations and ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in implementing new processes and improving operational efficiencies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques and standards.
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
**Reporting to**: Executive Housekeeper
This position plays a critical role in maintaining the resort’s reputation for cleanliness and guest satisfaction, making it an essential part of the daily operation at Coco Lagoon Resort.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
