Job Description: Academic Counselor (Sales)

**Location**: Noida, Sector 62
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Experience**: 1-4 years in sales or counseling (preferably in the edtech or education industry)

**Role Overview**

As an Academic Counselor (Sales), you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential students and guiding them in selecting the best courses and programs suited to their career aspirations. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between students' academic goals and our offerings, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Student Counseling & Engagement**:

- Understand students' educational backgrounds, goals, and challenges.
- Provide tailored guidance on course offerings, test series, and mentorship programs for CA and CMA exams.
- **Sales & Conversion**:

- Achieve individual and team targets for enrollments and revenue.
- Follow up on leads, nurture relationships, and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Upsell and cross-sell relevant courses or add-ons to maximize value for students.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to address student queries and streamline processes.
- Provide feedback to improve marketing campaigns and course offerings.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and sales in CRM software.
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports to track progress against targets.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in business, education, or related fields).
- **Experience**: Proven experience in sales & counselling. Experience in the edtech industry is a plus.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is an advantage).
- **Sales Skills**: Persuasive and consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust and close deals.
- **Tech Proficiency**: Experience with CRM tools, MS Office, and online communication platforms.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
