**Job Title: Food Technician**

**Education**: Graduate in Food Technology

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Technician to join our team at a chain of Vegetarian Restaurants and Indian Traditional Sweets Manufacturing. You will be working closely with the Lab Assistant to assist with daily testing and quality control operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily raw material analysis and generate detailed reports.
- Evaluate and determine the rejection or approval of raw materials based on the test results.
- Perform daily milk, fat, and oil analysis.
- Manage recipes and ensure consistency in product quality.
- Oversee HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and Quality Control management.
- Modify and improve existing food products while innovating new ingredients, products, and recipes.
- Research harmful food additives and work on developing safer and healthier alternatives.
- Monitor and enforce quality, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the production process to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to select the best materials and ingredients.
- Participate in product launches, conduct trials or experiments, and gather consumer feedback.
- Innovate solutions for packaging and labeling that align with product safety and branding.
- Write detailed reports on food product testing, quality control, and findings.
- Lead audits and resolve any non-conformities raised during inspections.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) in the production facility.
- Conduct in-process quality assurance (IPQA) of bakery and sweet products.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for products and processes.
- Monitor and inspect the production of bakery and sweets products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Inspect, test, and measure incoming raw materials and packaging materials to ensure compliance with established standards, and document all quality control and assurance records.
- Test all milk and milk-based products for moisture, fat content, adulteration, free fatty acids, peroxide value, and Reichert-Meissl value.
- Provide training in food safety and personal hygiene to all staff involved in the production process.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and quality control protocols.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results.
- Experience with HACCP and GMP systems.
- Knowledge of food additives, preservatives, and potential substitutes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality.
- Proficient in documentation and reporting.
