**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring and ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
- Carry out vouching of transactions and approve the same as per policy
- Ensure bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations are completed
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding invoices and payments
- Assist client with the filing of monthly and quarterly GST and TDS returns
- Assist in Monthly MIS preparation based on Office & client request
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor& degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior work experience in a Chartered accountant’s office will be preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
