**Cloud Administrator - Containers**

**ZS’s Cloud Center of Excellence team** defines and implements cloud best practices that ensure secure and resilient enterprise grade systems architecture for client facing/delivery software solutions. The Cloud team at ZS is a casual, collaborative, and a smart group with offices in Evanston, Illinois and Pune, India.

The Cloud Administrator will be part of **CCoE Compute Team** Pune. As Cloud Administrator, you will manage **Kubernetes** infrastructure for multiple environments. You will actively engage in planning, configuration, management, maintenance and upgrade of various components related to different Public clouds.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Work on various activities related to planning, configuration and management of different versions of EKS.
- Provision AWS resources using Terraform scripts as infrastructure-as-code (IAC)
- Managing desired state of systems using Ansible modules and configuration
- Managing Docker images on ECR, provisioning services on ECS.
- Managing deployments using Jenkins pipelines with zero-downtime to lower and higher environments
- Perform root cause analysis for escalated issues and provide resolution and Maintaining SOPs
- Build and Deployment using Jenkins, monitoring activities using AWS CloudWatch and automating tasks using AWS Lambda function

**What You’ll Bring**:

- BE/B.Tech or higher in CS, IT or EE.
- Hand on experience of 1-3yrs in delivering container based deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in writing manifest files for Deployment, Service, Pod, Daemon Sets, Persistent Volume (PV), Persistent Volume Claim (PVC), Storage, Namespaces.
- Strong hands on experience in Python,Yaml or similar language.
- Experience in Cloud, DevOps and Linux and Experience in DevOps Tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform and Docker and Kubernetes
- Build and deploy Docker containers to break up monolithic app into microservices, improving developer workflow
- Basic understanding of container security and relevant tool experience like Prisma,Aquasec, TwistLock,Sysdig etc
- Strong knowledge of container performance monitoring and scaling policies
- Linux knowledge with understanding of containers ecosystem,
- Good Experience to develop images using Docker container Technology..
- Should have good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
