- We are at a point of inflection in Indian Philanthropy where there is significant interest and- inflow of capital, which is only poised to grow in the coming years. However, there are limited lighthouses that are guiding investment decisions in impact through strong evidence-led research. Across stakeholders, there is a lack of investments in urgent problems and a lack of high-potential solutions due to a lack of awareness and concerted action.Sattva Knowledge Institute (SKI) aims to build a Knowledge platform as a public good that will drive greater impact through rigorous knowledge. SKI’s approach is anchored on 3 key pillars:Knowledge: Evidence-led knowledge across themes-

- Integration: Integration of knowledge with the decision-making of leaders**Primary Role**
- The role of the Podcast Editor in SKI is to aid in the end-to-end development, launch, and post-launch tasks of a podcast. The editor is free to operate at normal working hours remotely, but you are expected to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and produce quality work. The Podcast Editor will support the creation and execution of each podcast episode. We are currently looking to launch multiple podcasts in this financial year, but we would look to plan the production of these with the editor.While every day will be different, your general responsibilities will include the following:- Support with maintaining and procuring all necessary equipment for an effective podcast set-up-
- Manage the technical set-up for recording each episode end-to-end with both host and any guests-
- Edit every episode recorded, managing all hygiene editing independently and working with the podcast producer to develop the content content (video and audio) including:- Perform audio engineering tasks such as tuning, mixing, and levelling the audio-
- Perform video (as required) and audio editing tasks such as using audio editing software (that you’re proficient in) to clean up the audio interviews-
- Supporting with transcribing all episodes Upload podcast to WordPress website-
- Tailor, adapt and edit content for podcast/video/social media as require**Requirements for Role**
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders- Proficiency in clearly communicating, with excellent written communication skills in English is a must. Proficiency in Hindi will also be highly desirable.-
Ability to learn quickly on the job and work independently-
- A strong sense of building quality content with a focus on detail-orientation-
- Well-organized and willing to learn and grow.-
- Experienced with technical audio editing software-
- Experience with managing and maintaining podcast hosting platforms-
- Experience recording in different environments and using different effects to produce varied and engaging content-
- Experience of building reach and audience engagement with podcast content will be a plus**Requirements**:

- This position would require the applicant to be based out of Bengaluru, India so that they can come into our Sattva office when recordings are being done. Otherwise, the role is flexible to work remotely when editing and working with the podcast editor. The role will be salaried on a contractual basis for each episode produced and working hours can be agreed while being onboarded.
