We are dedicated to providing innovative security solutions to our global clients. Our team is expanding, and we're looking for a **Junior Researcher** to support our **Market Analyst **in delivering valuable insights and data-driven strategies.

If you are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Researcher, you now have the opportunity to join our Commercial Sales and Proposal team. You will play a key role in supporting the Market Analyst by conducting foundational research, gathering data, and analyzing industry trends, particularly related to Fortune 500 companies and broader market dynamics. This **entry-level position** is ideal for a motivated individual with strong research skills and an interest in business analysis, looking to build a career in market research, strategy, or business development.

As part of our global team, you will contribute to high-impact strategic projects, helping to shape Securitas’ commercial approach and providing valuable insights that inform business decisions on pricing, market trends, and client opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Data Collection & Market Research**:Assisting in gathering and organizing relevant market and company data, with a focus on Fortune 500 companies. Researching industry trends, competitors, and client information to provide accurate and timely data for the Commercial Market Analyst.
- **Support Pricing & Competitive Analysis**:Helping to collect and organizing pricing data from competitive products, including public financial reports, market research databases, and third-party sources. Contribute to competitive benchmarking efforts.
- **Client Research & Profiling**:Conducting detailed research on key clients, industries, and market players. Creating profiles for major companies and industries based on their market activities, financial performance, and competitive positioning.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:Assisting with data entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis of market trends. Summarizing findings into clear, concise reports, presentations, or dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- **Monitor Market News & Trends**: Staying updated on relevant industry news, macroeconomic developments, and emerging technologies that may impact Securitas’ market strategy. Regularly reporting on findings to the Commercial Market Analyst.
- **Administrative Support**:Helping on maintain research databases, managing data archives, and assisting with the preparation of presentations and reports used by the broader commercial team.
- **CRM Assistance**: Aiding in maintaining and updating the CRM system to ensure data accuracy. Supporting the sales team with CRM-related tasks and queries.
- **Collaboration**:Working closely with the Market Analyst and other team members to align research efforts. Participating in team meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:
- **3+ years** of experience in research, data analysis, or business-related roles (internships or academic projects acceptable).
- Basic understanding of market research principles and competitive analysis. Exposure to pricing analysis or corporate research is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI being a plus.
- Familiarity with research databases and online resources.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. CEP) and research platforms (experience with commercial databases is a bonus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to summarize research findings clearly and effectively.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to collect and organize data accurately.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a passion for market research and data analysis.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with senior researchers, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
- Must have **excellent English** written and verbal communication skills.

**Working conditions**

Role is based in **Securitas AMEA office** in India, **Gurugram**. It's a **hybrid working model** with Tuesdays and Wednesdays as mandatory office days.
