We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to manage the AI & ML Services Product in a collaborative, transparent, and empowering environment aligned with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles.

About the Product Pillar at the Merck Data & AI Organization: The Product Pillar is integral to our Group Data & AI Strategy, driving impact across our internal Data & AI ecosystem UPTIMIZE. This pillar is dedicated to the development and management of a robust product portfolio that enhances decision-making, operational efficiency, and fosters innovation throughout the company.

**Your role**:
As the Product Owner for AI & ML Services, you will define the product vision and strategy for our AI & ML services. You will manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely and effective delivery of features. Engaging with business sectors and the Merck Enabling Functions stakeholders, you will gather requirements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Collaboration with the development team from our practice organization will be essential as you work to deliver high-value AI/ML Services products that meet customer needs. You will continuously evaluate and refine the product to adapt to market changes and customer feedback. Additionally, you will take responsibility for change and release management, ensuring appropriate communication and engagement with the user community.

You will lead agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog management, to ensure timely delivery of product features. Additionally, you will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the adoption and impact of data insights solutions.

Your role will involve identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, gathering feedback, and driving iterative enhancements to the AI & ML Services as well as aligning user feedback with the software vendors.

**Who you are**:

- You have a higher-education degree (Master’s, PhD, MBA) in a technical field or business administration or comparable.
- 3 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, process transformation or similar in a global environment.
- Proficient in AI and Machine Learning concepts, including knowledge of frameworks and tools.
- Experience in managing digital products on a global scale beneficial as well as general life cycle and portfolio management processes.
- Agile (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban), Agile at Scale (e.g. SAFe, LeSS), or Lean project management certification desirable
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with internal and external customers at all organizational levels
- Passion for driving improvement and leading change in a dynamic environment
- Preferably, you have a prior work experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences or Electronics.
- Experienced in working in a global matrix environment, lateral leadership and positively influencing senior stakeholders
- Excellent team player who takes accountability and thinks cross functional
- Fluency in English.
