**Key job responsibilities**:

- Monitor and defend networks and systems against intrusions and cyber threats.
- Conduct threat hunting, incident response, and log analysis.
- Implement and fine-tune security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security risks.
- Conduct threat emulation exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
- Develop detailed reports of security risks and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
- Design, implement, and manage secure architectures to protect enterprise systems and data.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all layers of our infrastructure.
- Work closely with other security teams to ensure comprehensive protection and response strategies.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior security team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to proactively enhance our security posture.

**Required skills & experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in security administration, with hands-on experience in both Blue and Red Team functions.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture principles, network protocols, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CEH) are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
