Anm Nurse

We are hiring an ANM Nurse for our hospital located in Coimbatore.

ANM Nurse, also known as the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife, is a critical healthcare professional who provides primary healthcare services and plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients, particularly in rural or underserved areas.

ANM Nurses are responsible for providing healthcare services to individuals and communities, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and basic curative care. They work under the supervision of registered nurses or medical officers and provide care to patients across different age groups, including children, adults, and elderly individuals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing primary healthcare services, including health assessment, health promotion, and disease prevention, to individuals and communities.
- Conducting health screenings, taking patient histories, and performing physical examinations to identify health problems and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by medical officers or registered nurses.
- Assisting in childbirth and providing antenatal and postnatal care to pregnant women.
- Providing basic curative care, including wound care, dressing changes, and minor procedures.
- Educating patients and communities about health and hygiene practices, family planning, nutrition, and other health-related topics.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, registered nurses, and community health workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, care plans, and treatment administered.
- Monitoring and managing medical equipment and supplies to ensure availability and proper functioning.
- Participating in health campaigns, outreach programs, and community health initiatives as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of ANM course from a recognized institution and registered with the respective State Nursing Council.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent clinical skills, including health assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of community health practices and understanding of the cultural and social dynamics of the local population.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in rural or underserved areas with limited resources.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and documentation.
- Valid nursing license and any additional certifications as required by the local regulatory authorities.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
