**Job Summary**:
The Senior CCTV Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, including analog and IP-based cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related security equipment. This role includes leading a team of technicians, providing expert technical guidance, and ensuring that systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards. The Senior CCTV Technician will also manage client relations, ensuring satisfaction and providing advanced support for complex installations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation of CCTV Systems**:

- Lead the installation of CCTV systems, including mounting cameras, configuring DVR/NVR units, and ensuring proper cabling and network setup.
- Install and configure a range of cameras (analog, IP, PTZ), ensuring optimal placement for coverage and functionality.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during installation work.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and repair issues related to CCTV systems, including hardware faults, software malfunctions, and network connectivity problems.
- Perform routine maintenance on CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality, including cleaning, adjusting cameras, and checking recording devices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems, including video loss, camera malfunctions, storage issues, and network-related faults.
- **System Configuration and Integration**:

- Configure CCTV systems, including IP camera setups, video management software (VMS), and network video recorders (NVRs).
- Ensure that systems are integrated with other security solutions such as access control, alarm systems, and monitoring software.
- Calibrate and adjust cameras for image quality, focus, and zoom settings to meet client requirements.
- **Leadership and Team Supervision**:

- Lead and mentor a team of junior technicians, providing guidance on installation practices, troubleshooting techniques, and customer service skills.
- Delegate tasks to team members and oversee work quality to ensure efficient and high-standard service delivery.
- Conduct training sessions for new team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge of CCTV systems.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during installation and maintenance projects, ensuring clear communication and timely service.
- Provide technical advice to clients on CCTV system upgrades, enhancements, and best practices for system use and maintenance.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure that service is delivered in a professional and timely manner.
- **Project Management**:

- Plan, manage, and execute CCTV installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their security needs and design tailored CCTV solutions to meet those needs.
- Manage project resources, including tools, equipment, and manpower, to ensure efficient use of time and materials.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare detailed reports on installation, maintenance, and service work performed, including system configurations, equipment used, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain records of client systems, including camera locations, wiring diagrams, and device settings for future reference.
- Submit service reports to management, outlining project progress, customer feedback, and any technical challenges faced.
- **System Upgrades and Recommendations**:

- Advise clients on potential system upgrades, such as transitioning from analog to IP-based systems, increasing storage capacity, or improving system redundancy.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in CCTV technology, including advancements in camera resolution, AI-driven video analytics, and cloud-based video management systems.
- Implement system enhancements, such as upgrading firmware, adding new cameras, or expanding coverage areas.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all installations and maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments on job sites and take necessary precautions to prevent accidents and damage to property.
- Educate junior technicians on safe work practices, especially when working at heights or with electrical components.
- **Inventory and Spare Parts Management**:

- Manage inventory of spare parts and tools needed for installation and maintenance work, ensuring that the team is always equipped to handle service requests.
- Order replacement parts, cameras, cables, and other equipment as needed, working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Keep an accurate inventory record of equipment used in the field, ensuring accountability and cost control.

**Key Qualifications**:
