Cctv Technician

As a CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of closed-circuit television systems to ensure optimal performance and security for our clients. You will work closely with customers to assess their surveillance needs, design appropriate CCTV solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal camera placement and layout for CCTV systems.
- Install CCTV cameras, monitors, recording devices, and other related equipment according to specifications and industry standards.
- Configure and program CCTV systems, including setting up recording schedules, motion detection settings, and remote access capabilities.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on CCTV equipment to ensure functionality and prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with CCTV systems, including camera malfunctions, recording failures, and network connectivity problems.
- Replace faulty components and conduct repairs as needed to restore system functionality.
- **Upgrades and Enhancements**:
- Stay informed about advancements in CCTV technology and recommend upgrades or enhancements to existing systems to improve performance and security.
- Install firmware updates, software patches, and security patches to maintain system integrity and protect against vulnerabilities.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs for documentation and compliance purposes.
- Generate reports detailing the status of CCTV systems, including performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and any identified issues or recommendations.
- **Customer Support**:
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients or end-users regarding CCTV system operation, troubleshooting, and usage guidelines.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a CCTV technician or a similar role in the security industry.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV systems and related equipment.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology, networking principles, and electrical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certification or training in CCTV installation and maintenance is preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
