**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Scrum Master Service to the Product Owner
- Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
- Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.
- Understanding product planning in an empirical environment
- Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Understanding and practicing agility
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.

Scrum Master Service to the Development Team
- Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality to install Agile values and principles and lead by example.
- Helping the Development Team to create high value products.
- Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress
- Keeping Scrum process on track and passing it to the team as self-organization matures
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions
- Empower your team to self-organize.

**Background & Skills**:

- Scrum Master certification
- 10+ years of strong experience as Scrum Master
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding and experience of Agile Frameworks and practices
- Must be able to ensure agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority.
- Can complete independently diverse/complex work with mínimal direction, diverse interactions, and knowledge resource.
- Strong individual business focused person with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent teamwork skills especially with people less skilled in communication
- Facilitation skills & Coaching skills
