**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Data Entry**: Accurately input a high volume of data into Excel spreadsheets and other databases. Ensure that all records are correctly formatted, organized, and easily accessible.
- **Data Verification**: Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Perform quality checks to identify and correct errors.
- **Excel Functions**: Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, and macros) to process and organize data effectively. Generate reports and insights from data when needed.
- **Data Updating and Maintenance**: Regularly update and maintain data in Excel, ensuring all information is current and properly categorized.
- **Data Cleaning**: Identify, remove, and correct any inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete data entries within Excel files.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and generate accurate data reports from Excel as requested by management or other departments.
- **Typing**: Demonstrate excellent typing speed and accuracy to meet the demands of high-volume data entry tasks (typically 40-60 words per minute).
- **File Management**: Organize and maintain electronic records in both Excel and other software systems. Ensure that files are easy to locate and back up regularly.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate data entry, especially when discrepancies arise.
- **Confidentiality**: Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality, adhering to privacy policies and regulations.
- **Ad-hoc Tasks**: Assist with other administrative tasks as required by the team or management.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Excel Expertise**: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, filters, data validation, VLOOKUP, macros, and other advanced functions.
- **Typing Speed and Accuracy**: Strong typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy (typically 40-60 words per minute). Must be able to meet fast-paced data entry requirements.
- **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, or discrepancies.
- **Organization**: Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of data and files.
- **Communication**: Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- **Confidentiality**: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive data.
**Educational Requirements**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications or training in data entry, Excel, or administration are a plus.
- Previous experience in a data entry role or administrative support with a focus on Excel is highly preferred.
**Preferred Experience**:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Proven typing speed (40-60 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced data entry role or administrative environment.
**Work Environment**:
- This role can be performed in an office setting, with potential for remote work depending on company policy.
- Full-time and part-time positions available, with flexible working hours in some cases.
