Overview:
As a Junior Architect, you will work under the supervision of senior architects and project managers to contribute to various stages of architectural projects, from initial concept development to construction documentation. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, drafting, and project coordination while learning from seasoned professionals. Your creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail will be essential in assisting with the creation of innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design Development: Collaborate with senior architects and design team members to develop architectural concepts and schematic designs that meet client objectives, programmatic requirements, and aesthetic goals.
- Drafting: Assist in preparing detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- 3D Modeling: Create digital 3D models and visualizations of architectural designs to help communicate design ideas and concepts to clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
- Research: Conduct research on materials, building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant factors to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and other project documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and other project stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and other building systems into architectural designs.
- Site Visits: Participate in site visits and field surveys to gather information, assess existing conditions, and support the design and documentation process.
- Presentation: Prepare presentation materials, including drawings, renderings, and presentations, to effectively communicate design concepts and proposals to clients, reviewers, and project stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Review drawings, documents, and models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements, standards, and schedules.
- Professional Development: Stay abreast of current trends, technologies, and best practices in architecture and design through continuous learning, professional development opportunities, and participation in industry events and forums.

**Requirements**:

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools, as well as rendering software and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Design Aptitude: Strong design sensibility, creativity, and ability to generate and develop architectural concepts and solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and technical information to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, and to contribute positively to group discussions, design critiques, and problem-solving sessions.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, modeling, and documentation, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
