**1. Surface Preparation**

Clean, grind, or sand fabricated parts to remove rust, oil, dust, and weld spatter before painting.

Ensure proper surface finish and degreasing as per process instructions.

Carry out masking, if required, before painting.

**2. Mixing and Paint Preparation**

Mix paints, primers, and thinners according to manufacturer’s recommendations and job requirements.

Maintain viscosity, color shade, and mixing ratio consistency.

**3. Painting Operations**

Follow the correct painting sequence and layer thickness (DFT).

Ensure uniform paint finish without runs, sags, or missed areas.

Maintain proper drying time between coats as per paint supplier guidelines.

**4. Quality Control**

Conduct visual inspection of painted components.

Record and report any paint defects such as peeling, pinholes, or shade variation.

Coordinate with the quality team for DFT and adhesion testing.

**5. Equipment & Material Handling**

Maintain spray guns, hoses, compressors, and painting booth cleanliness.

Handle paints, solvents, and thinners safely and store them in designated areas.

**6. Health, Safety & Environment**

Wear PPE such as respirator mask, gloves, goggles, and coveralls.

Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and fire hazards.

Ensure proper ventilation during painting activity.

Dispose of paint waste as per company’s environmental policy.

**7. Documentation & Reporting**

Maintain daily painting log sheet (job card, color, batch number, quantity painted, etc.).

Record paint consumption and inform supervisor for replenishment.

**Qualification & Experience**:
**Education**: ITI / Diploma in Painter Trade or equivalent.

**Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in industrial or fabrication painting.

**Knowledge Required**:
Spray painting techniques (air, airless, powder if applicable).

Paint types - epoxy, enamel, polyurethane, QD, primer, etc.

Basic knowledge of DFT measurement and surface preparation standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
