Job Description for Mathematics Teacher (Grades 9-10 CBSE):
**Position**: Mathematics Teacher

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum for Grades 9-10.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to address diverse learning styles.
- **Mathematics Instruction**:

- Instruct students in various mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive and challenging activities.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments to measure students' understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate assessment results to parents.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- **Individualized Support**:

- Identify and address individual learning needs through differentiated instruction.
- Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to provide additional assistance when required.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' academic progress and any concerns.
- Attend parent-teacher conferences and other school-related events.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching certification for mathematics at the secondary level.
- Previous experience teaching mathematics to Grade 9-10 students.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
