About NCAM
**National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NCAM)** is a company registered under section 8(1) of the companies Act 2013. The NCAM is established by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India and ITE&C Department, Govt. of Telangana in partnership with industry. It is established with a vision to and develop comprehensive Additive Manufacturing ecosystem in the country and position India as a Global AM Manufacturing Hub.

NCAM aims to create and enable a sustainable ecosystem for product innovation in India with emphasis on research, design, development, and testing through collaborative efforts between academia, industry and government using the disruptive technology of Additive Manufacturing.

To achieve its mandate the NCAM has broadly captured the activities in the five pillars as described below:
The National Centre for Additive Manufacturing (NACM), in line with Government of India’s vision for Atmanirbhar Bharat to position India as a hub for Additive Manufacturing development and deployment, aims at enabling domestic Additive Manufacturing Industry to compete globally.

**Job Summary**

NCAM is rapidly expanding its capabilities in Skilling, Innovation and Start-up Incubation. The **Additive Manufacturing Intern** will be a part of the team and assist in the activities for the above 3 verticals. The intern will be a part of the NCAM team at its Osmania University for three months (start and end dates are flexible). Work will consist of assisting the team with conceptualising programs, workshops, conferences and projects with on AM and developing best practices for 3D printing. In addition to this the intern will aid in the preparation of R&D and Innovation and AM Start-up survey report.

In addition to learning alongside professional designers, engineers, and material experts, the intern will get exposure to national and international partnerships, programs and best practices in technologies, design and materials and software in Additive Manufacturing.

**Essential Functions**
- Support the vision, mission and objectives of the company
- Support in conducting 3D printing training and skill development programs, events and conferences
- Assist in carrying out primary and secondary research, interviews, establish networks with Industry, R&D Institutes and Academic Institutions to enable preparation of proposals, reports and white papers
- Work with other team members to identify the best solutions for customer programs
- Collaborate in cross-functional project teams across business verticals of Skilling, Incubation and Industry Programs
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO

**Education and Experience**
- Currently pursuing a B.Tech / M.Tech degree preferably in additive manufacturing or related field.
- Good written communication skills in English
- Overall knowledge of additive manufacturing processes and secondary processes
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, multi-cultural and multi-competency environment
- Strong autonomy, time management skills and ability to prioritize
- MS Office
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Prior internship experience is desirable.

**Physical Demands**
- In city travel as part of event planning and networking with clients and partners will be required.
