Job description

We are looking into bringing on board a highly experienced Linux Server Administrator to work alongside our highly motivated and happy team in an ideal work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Installation and maintenance of all Linux-based servers

Support and monitor the Linux environment as well as mixed operating system environment to provide a 24x7x365 uptime

Continuous testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and sustainability of the service infrastructure

Develop, coordinate, and drive projects and optimize the existing environment based on growing and changing business needs

Analyze cloud architecture implementations and make recommendations regarding security, network design, and storage utilization

Collaborate with team to automate management tasks and streamline processes to achieve consistent and scalable results

Continuous up-keep of operational documentation

Provide documentation and technical specifications to employees for planning and implementing new or upgrades to IT infrastructure

Maintain best practices in managing systems and services across all environments

Troubleshooting issues of PHP scripts and supporting web developers in developing websites.

Maintain system security and backup/recovery procedures.

Experience managing requirements for customer-facing, high availability environment
Experience with scripting languages
Experience with main network protocols and common types of devices
Knowledge of popular web servers
Strong understanding of different versions of Linux - Server provisioning, Patching, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning, and upgrade
Ability to comfortably troubleshoot network issues
Knowledge and experience with network load balancers
Hands-on experience in physical to virtual server migration
Willingness to work in shifts, if required
Good technical problem-solving and interpersonal skills necessary to assist others in problem resolution
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Highly motivated, detail-oriented team player with a great attitude.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
