**Company Overview**

Pietra Ware is a premium manufacturer specializing in handcrafted concrete and terrazzo bathware. Combining artisan craftsmanship with modern manufacturing processes, Pietra Ware delivers high-quality, aesthetically designed bath products, including sinks, bathtubs, and other bespoke pieces for residential and commercial clients.

**Position Overview**

The **Production Supervisor** will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pietra Ware manufacturing plant. This leadership role will require effective management of a diverse production team, ensuring smooth production processes, quality control, timely delivery, and effective coordination between departments. The Plant Supervisor will work closely with the **Head Engineer**, the **Sales Team**, and the **Owners** to align production goals with sales forecasts and customer demands. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining optimal work conditions, safety standards, and continuous improvement of plant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Production Management**
- Oversee and manage the entire production process from raw materials to finished products.
- Supervise the work of the following departments and ensure each team member is performing effectively:

- Sample Making Technician & Helper
- Head Carpenter & Helper for Mold Making
- FRP Technician & Helper for Mold Making
- Mixing Technicians & Helpers for Concrete Batch Preparation
- Casting Technicians & Helpers for Product Casting
- Polishing Technicians
- Filing Technicians & Helpers
- Sealing Technicians & Helpers
- Packaging Technicians & Helpers

**2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management**
- Manage and motivate a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that all staff members meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Assign daily tasks and ensure all employees have the resources and support needed to complete their work.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to staff, promoting skill development and growth within the company.
- Handle employee performance, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure proper delegation of responsibilities between helpers and technicians for each department.

**3. Quality Control & Process Improvement**
- Monitor product quality at every stage of production and coordinate with the **Head Engineer** to implement improvements where needed.
- Ensure that quality checks are being conducted properly by technicians (e.g., Filing Technicians, Sealing Technicians, Packaging Technicians).
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and maintain high standards of production quality.
- Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and work with the Head Engineer to implement cost-effective and efficient solutions.

**4. Inventory & Resource Management**
- Coordinate the sourcing and management of raw materials, ensuring the plant has adequate supplies at all times.
- Manage inventory of consumables, tools, and machinery, ensuring resources are available for the team to work without interruptions.
- Track and report material usage and waste to optimize material usage and reduce costs.

**5. Coordination with Sales Team & Owners**
- Maintain continuous communication with the **Sales Team** to understand customer demand and production priorities.
- Update the **Owners** regularly on production status, addressing any challenges, delays, or issues that may arise.
- Align production output with order volumes and due dates, ensuring timely delivery of all products to customers.

**6. Health, Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions to reduce accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
- Monitor workplace hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain safety standards.

**7. Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities, employee performance, safety incidents, and inventory.
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly production reports to the owners, highlighting key performance metrics.
- Analyze production data and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing or production environment (preferably in the concrete or terrazzo industry).
- Previous experience in managing a diverse team, ideally in a hands-on, technical production setting.
