**Job Summary**:
TradeFlock is looking for a meticulous and editorially strong **Sub-Editor** to join our editorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining content submitted by writers, ensuring it meets our editorial standards for accuracy, clarity, tone, and style. You’ll collaborate closely with writers, senior editors, and the design team to deliver polished, professional business content for both print and digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit and proofread articles, interviews, and features for grammar, style, and factual accuracy
- Maintain consistency in tone and structure across all editorial content
- Collaborate with writers to improve clarity and flow, rewriting copy where needed
- Ensure all content aligns with TradeFlock’s editorial guidelines and target audience
- Verify facts, data, names, and references to ensure credibility and accuracy
- Review headlines, subheadings, and metadata for engagement and SEO optimization
- Coordinate with layout/design teams to ensure content is publication-ready

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an editorial or sub-editing role (preferably in business or trade media)
- Excellent command of written English, grammar, and editorial best practices
- Sharp eye for detail and the ability to spot and correct errors quickly
- Familiarity with editorial workflows, CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), and SEO fundamentals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards
