**Job Title: Sub Editor ( Hindi - News)**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Edit news articles in Hindi for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, and style consistency.
- Fact-check information and verify sources to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
- Collaborate with writers and reporters to enhance the quality and readability of articles.
- Write compelling headlines and summaries that accurately represent the content of the articles.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the editorial guidelines and standards of the publication.
- Stay updated with current events, trends, and issues to contribute relevant ideas and perspectives.
- Assist in the translation of news articles from English to Hindi, if required.
- Work closely with the editorial team to meet deadlines and publishing schedules.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Hindi Literature, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and editing Hindi with excellent command over grammar and vocabulary.
- Prior experience in journalism, editing, or content creation, preferably in a newsroom environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in written content.
- Knowledge of journalistic ethics, standards, and practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and content management systems is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
