NMIMS is looking for a visionary leader and scholar to lead the Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Technology Management - Mumbai at our Mumbai Campus by providing excellent teaching and research guidance to students and faculty members. He/ She should possess excellent leadership and organisational skills, have the ability to multi-task, willing to collaborate and be part of a team with great social and interpersonal skills.
The person shall be overall responsible for the growth of the institution, quality improvement, periodical reviews, placement and industry collaboration. He/she is required to provide guidance in planning, coordination and implementation of academic programmes as per the UGC rules and regulations and other statutory bodies like PCI/AICTE from time to time. Should be well acquainted with various Academic Admin Processes, Accreditation Agencies and Statutory bodies and their procedures. He/She will lead a portfolio of long & short duration programmes in Pharmacy in close coordination with the Dean of the School / Director of the Campus. He/She will work to attract well-known professionals & academics in this field to the institution.
Qualification & Experience:
Desirable:
i. Teaching, industrial research and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;
ii. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;
iii. Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;
iv. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities; and
v. Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities.
In 1981, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) established Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to meet the growing demand for management education. In 2003, NMIMS was declared a deemed to be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The Vision of the University is to be a globally admired University by 2030.
