- **Customer service **Receptionists often represent the company, so they should have good customer service skills.
- **Multitasking **Receptionists often handle multiple tasks at once, such as answering calls, receiving customers, and liaising with employees.
- **Organization **Receptionists should be organized and resourceful, and be able to manage schedules and organize duties.
- **Attention to detail **Receptionists should pay close attention to detail, especially when booking flights and following company processes.
- **Problem solving**Receptionists should be able to prioritize issues and tasks, and address errors quickly.
- **Technical skills **Receptionists should be comfortable using phone systems, photocopy machines, and printers, and be proficient with computers.
