**Qualification** - B.Tech - Mech.

**Experience** - Min. 5+ yrs. in foundry industry

**Working Hour** - 12

**Location** - Kaladera, Raj.

**Job Description**:

- Operate and monitor melting furnaces (e.g., induction, cupola, electric arc, or crucible furnaces).
- Charge the furnace with raw materials (scrap metal, alloys, fluxes).
- Ignite and control furnace temperatures based on metal type and specifications.
- Supervise and execute the melting process to ensure consistent and uniform molten metal.
- Monitor melt parameters and adjust accordingly for desired properties.
- Conduct or assist with spectrometer or wet lab analysis to ensure metal meets the required chemical composition.
- Add alloying elements and fluxes as needed to adjust chemistry.
- Use pyrometers or thermocouples to check melt temperature.
- Ensure proper superheat levels before tapping or pouring.
- Tap the molten metal from the furnace safely into ladles.
- Coordinate with pouring teams to ensure timely delivery of molten metal to the mold area.
- Follow strict safety protocols when handling high-temperature materials.
- Use PPE and ensure safety of self and co-workers.
- Maintain environmental and operational compliance as per foundry standards.
- Perform routine checks and minor maintenance of furnaces and related equipment.
- Ensure furnace area is clean, organized, and free from obstructions or hazards.
