**Position - **Assistant Manager - Training and Academics

**Reporting to - **Manager / Senior Manager

**About KEF**:
Kotak Education Foundation’s (KEF) mission is to support children and youth from underprivileged families through different education based interventions to rise above the poverty line and lead a life of dignity through sustainable processes. KEF works with some of India’s most economically underprivileged communities, attempting to alleviate poverty through education and livelihood programs.

KEF works with multiple regional language government-aided private institutions. These schools have been set up by social entrepreneurs and lack quality teaching, infrastructure and leadership. Through its various programs across education, innovative healthcare and livelihood training programs, the foundation supplements the efforts of these schools to improve their conditions.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Providing mentorship, and contributing specialized knowledge to the team of content coordinators and beneficiaries (teachers) in Maharashtra State Board curriculum.

Recommending digital technology based solutions and determining software development requirements w.r.t content/ pedagogy.

Determining whether digital technology solutions meet defined requirements of the project.

Verifying the content (digital/ non digital) services provided by the content vendor based on SCERT syllabus, technical reference information, including user guides, training manuals

Documenting processes related to the content evaluation, content dissemination

Follow all reporting systems strictly, daily/weekly/monthly. Maintain attendance and log sheets, maintaining and recording all data as per internal processes.

**Educational Qualification**

Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field. A teaching certification is a plus.

**Years of experience**

Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology, teacher training, curriculum design, or related fields

**Work Skills**

Experience in creating content for teachers and students of secondary school.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Good communication skills oral and written preferably in English

Proficient in digital technologies and is a user of software tools in day to day teaching and work.

Team player and collaborator.

Punctual and flexible in the field.

Physical reporting to office/ schools as per project requirement.

**Job Specifications**:
**Nature of job - **Permanent

**Location - **HO - Mumbai (Chembur)

The job may involve travelling to other locations beyond Mumbai

**Hours of work - **8 hours 6 days a week
