The Career Counsellor is responsible for helping students or clients choose their career paths, guiding them in making informed educational, professional, and personal decisions. The role involves assessing individual skills, interests, and strengths to provide tailored career advice. The counsellor also collaborates with schools, colleges, and employers to connect students with the right opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Career Guidance & Assessment**:

- Conduct individual or group career counselling sessions.
- Administer and interpret psychometric tests to assess abilities, interests, and personality.
- Help clients identify strengths, weaknesses, and career goals.
- **Educational Planning**:

- Provide information about educational pathways, courses, colleges, and universities.
- Assist students in selecting courses that align with career objectives.
- **Job Market Insight**:

- Stay updated on job market trends and emerging career fields.
- Provide clients with information on job opportunities, required qualifications, and hiring practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify job and internship openings.
- **Resume Building & Interview Prep**:

- Assist clients with resume writing and personal branding.
- Provide interview coaching and help improve soft skills.
- **Workshops and Seminars**:

- Conduct career workshops, seminars, and job fairs for students or clients.
- Partner with educational institutions and professionals to offer workshops on career-related topics.
- **Tracking & Follow-Up**:

- Track student progress and maintain accurate records of counselling sessions.
- Follow up with clients to monitor the success of career guidance provided.
- **Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, parents, and external organizations to ensure holistic support.
- Work closely with placement offices and recruitment agencies.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to empathize and build rapport with clients.
- Experience with psychometric assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of career trends and the educational system.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Career Counselling, Education, or a related field.
- Certification in career counselling or guidance is a plus.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in career counselling or a related field.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
