ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

**Job Title: PostgreSQL Database Developer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate database solutions.
- Perform database tuning and troubleshooting.
- Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and security measures.
- Monitor database performance and provide technical support.
- Stay updated with the latest PostgreSQL features and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with database security and backup/recovery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with other database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
