**Job Title**: Oracle Database Administrator

**Job Summary**:
**Mandatory Skills**:

- Proficiency in **performance monitoring and tuning** of Oracle database systems to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Expertise in **database management**, including annual data archival processes.
- Strong experience with **infrastructure maintenance** and **MS Server management**, including quarterly Windows server patching.
- **Installing and configuring** Oracle database software to meet organizational needs.
- Solid knowledge of **backup and restoration** procedures for critical data.
- Proven ability in **security management** of databases, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Effective collaboration with development teams to design and develop Oracle database architectures.
- Hands-on experience in **space management**, including stopping/starting services, upgrades, and patching activities.

**Desired/Secondary Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and fine-tune database performance to ensure seamless operation and optimal system performance.
- Manage Oracle databases effectively, including yearly archival to optimize storage and ensure accessibility.
- Maintain infrastructure and manage MS Servers in combination with quarterly server patching to ensure system stability and security.
- Install and configure Oracle database software, ensuring it aligns with organizational needs.
- Develop and implement reliable backup and restoration procedures for critical data.
- Ensure database security by implementing appropriate security measures and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient Oracle database solutions.
- Perform space management, including service operations (Stop/Start), system upgrades, and patching to maintain system efficiency and reliability.

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹1,089,216.70 - ₹1,532,670.33 per year
