Our products and services focus on the key insights, metrics, and advice our clients need to manage all aspects of their business.SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Associate will work within the Commercial Loan Analytics product to standardize and process commercial loan data from our client banks, create and analyze client deliverables to help our clients optimize their Commercial Loan portfolios.Responsibilities :Import, standardize, normalize and process commercial loan data from individual unformatted files as submitted by partner banks. Data to be aggregated and inserted into our various SQL-based relational databases on a monthly basis. Data primarily submitted from Bank’s accounting software or commercial warehouse.Validate and audit processed data to identify month-over-month changes and identify any systematic load issues or large variances from the prior period.Generate downstream client-based deliverables including monthly pricing guidelines (providing clients with the current “market clearing” price on commercial loans leveraging statistical modelling of commercial loan data), as well as quarterly excel-based reports detailing a commercial banks performance vs. a market data set. Other reports include details on upcoming commercial loans with pricing opportunities or retention risks.Update, run and troubleshoot batch scriptsHelp establish detailed documentation of our monthly load process as well as detailed business rules and best practices for use in future onboarding of client commercial loan data.Required Experience :Strong technical and quantitative analysis skills, experience with data mining and a proficiency with MS Office products (specifically Microsoft Excel and Access) required.Understanding Windows functionality, including file-based actionsUnderstanding of PowershellStrong experience and knowledge in SQL Server, structures and functionality (e.g., data importing, script modification/execution, etc.)Strong experience and knowledge of Visual Studio Data Tools and SQL Server Management StudioUnderstanding of MS Access functionality (writing queries/macros)T-SQL logic and coding a plusBACKGROUND ON OUR PRODUCTS:The Analyst will work with clients on Commercial Loan Analytics products. The products and services are delivered via Web-based business intelligence tools, data feeds, and API. The products are used by commercial banking senior executives, strategy professionals, relationship managers, marketing teams, and sales enablement leaders to monitor credit pricing trends, increase sales effectiveness and improve business performance.
