**Department**:Information Security / Software Development
**Reports to**:VP Platform Engineering

**What will you do in RamSoft?**

**Security Architecture Design**: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures for both on-premises and cloud environments, aligning with the organization’s strategic goals.

**Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with executive leadership to define and implement security strategies that address current and future business needs.

**Threat and Vulnerability Management**: Lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management processes to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks.

**Security Solutions Development**: Design and oversee the deployment of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, encryption, and identity management systems.

**Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)**: Ensure that all security architectures and implementations are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

**Security Incident Response**: Provide technical leadership during security incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term corrective actions.

**Cloud Security**: Architect secure cloud solutions and enforce security policies for cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

**Mentorship and Leadership**: Act as a mentor to junior security engineers and other IT staff, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.

**Continuous Improvement**: Stay informed of emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends, integrating new solutions to enhance the organization’s security posture.

**Stakeholder Communication**: Effectively communicate security strategies, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive.

**What will you bring to RamSoft?**

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architect or senior engineering role.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing security architectures in large, complex environments

**Technical Skills**
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption, and endpoint protection.
- Expertise in cloud security, including securing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, VPNs, IPSec).
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipeline security, container security).

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.

**You will really stand out if you have following of these**:
**Education**:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

**Certifications**:Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
