Assistant Dean

Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Academic Administration**:
- Collaborate with the Dean to oversee curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation processes.
- Assist in the planning and execution of academic policies and initiatives.
- Monitor student academic progress and provide guidance on academic issues.
2. **Faculty Support**:
- Work closely with faculty members to enhance their teaching and research activities.
- Support in faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation processes.
3. **Student Affairs**:
- Engage with student concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Participate in student orientation, advising, and mentoring programs.
4. **Budget and Resource Management**:
- Assist in budget planning and allocation of resources.
- Ensure financial efficiency and effectiveness in academic operations.
5. **Strategic Planning**:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the school/college's strategic plan.
- Help in the establishment of goals and objectives to further academic excellence.
6. **Research and Development**:
- Promote research activities and initiatives within the school/college.
**Qualifications**:
- A master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in academic administration or educational leadership is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the educational environment.
