VMware Admin

Job expectation:
Provide expert support and troubleshooting for VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Assist with the deployment and configuration of VCF components including vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, and NSX in VMware Cloud environments.
Monitor and maintain VCF infrastructure to ensure the platform is running efficiently.
Lead and support virtual server migrations utilizing the VMware HCX migration tool to seamlessly transition workloads from on-premise environments to cloud-based or other VMware environments.
Deploy and configure Windows and Linux operating systems on virtual machines (VMs), ensuring they are set up according to organizational standards and security best practices

Primary skills:
Expertise in VMware VCF platform and related components (vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, NSX).
Operating System Deployment (Windows & Linux)
Cisco UCS Intersight Support

Secondary skills:
Networking Principles and Troubleshooting
Customer Communication and Support
Documentation and Reporting
