Introduction:
Chandigarh University is seeking a dynamic and highly driven individual to fill the role of Admission Counsellor for its Jaipur branch. As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a vital role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process and providing them with comprehensive information about the academic programs, facilities, and opportunities available at Chandigarh University.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Student Recruitment:

- Promote Chandigarh University and its various academic programs to potential students and their parents through various recruitment channels, such as educational fairs, school and college visits, seminars, and online platforms.
- Conduct presentations and give persuasive talks to engage and convince prospective students to choose Chandigarh University for higher education.

2. Counselling and Guidance:

- Provide detailed information on the university's admission criteria, eligibility requirements, course structure, and career prospects to students and parents.
- Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to address any inquiries and concerns related to admissions, courses, scholarships, and infrastructure facilities.

3. Application Processing:

- Coordinate with the Admissions Office to ensure all required documents are received and processed promptly.
- Track and maintain student records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

4. Target Achievement:

- Meet or exceed admission targets by effectively managing leads and converting them into successful enrollments.
- Monitor and report on the progress of prospective students from identification to admission, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.

5. Relationship Building:

- Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, educational consultants, and other relevant stakeholders in the education industry to increase awareness and visibility of Chandigarh University.
- Organize and participate in events that promote the university, such as career counseling sessions, workshops, and alumni interaction programs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a relevant field, such as marketing, business administration, or education)
- Prior experience in admissions counseling, sales, or customer service is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop trust and rapport with prospective students and their parents
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within Jaipur and nearby regions for recruitment activities
