As an Admission Counsellor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance to prospective students and their families. Duties will include advising students on academic programs, reviewing applications, providing advice on the admission process, explaining student life, and ensuring a clear and responsive communication process during the admission process.ResponsibilitiesAdvise students on academic programsReview applicationsProvide advice on the admission processExplain student lifeEnsure clear and responsive communication during the admission processQualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in higher education admissionsExperience in student recruitment, guidance or counsellingExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to establish and maintain relationships with potential students, their families, and school officialsWorking knowledge of computer applications and databases for student records, data analysis, and reportingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize and meet deadlinesKnowledge of the education system, higher education policy and procedureStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsFluency in written and spoken English
