**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage Assembly line ensuring zero breakdowns- Ensure availability of Spares & consumables to avoid production loss.- Promote innovation and implement the kaizen.- Shop floor management through skill up-gradation to improve overall effectiveness.- Ability to compile and review the department activities and should manage the role of department planner- Follow safe practices across the plant to maintain all legal requirements, safe & healthy working condition.
- **Specific Expertise**
- Hands-on experience in various process of Heat Treatment, forging process and following its parameters, i.e. Case Carburizing, Induction Hardening
- Through Hardening, Tempering, Annealing & Normalizing, Carbonitriding.
Working knowledge of carburising furnaces is must. He must have basic metallurgy knowledge andshould be capable of doing furnace troubleshooting.
Proficient in metallurgical inspection of pre & post heat treatment material with hands on experience of Vickers & Rockwell hardness tester & microstructure inspection.- Role:_Maintenance Engineer
