**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Accounting Supervisor + IC role (Team size - 10 FTE)
- Predominantly focused on Accounting and Reconciliations activities
- Account Reconciliations
- Cash Reconciliations
- Month-end Accounting
- Monthly Account Reconciliations Review and analysis
- Weekly Cash Reconciliations Review
- Ensure timely Accruals of expenses
- Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
- Analyzes and prepares financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position. Involved in the monthly/quarterly 'close' process
- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
- Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
- Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
- Clear understanding on Bank Reconciliations process
- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
- Be able to analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position
- Assist with or lead the month end, quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
- Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues
- End-to-end ownership and accountability of work performed at OGS
- Drive process improvements wherever possible in collaboration with US team
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- 10+ minimum years of professional accounting experience
- Hands-on experience performing the following:

- Balance Sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve reconciling items
- GL ledger accounting (Preparing JE source document, Preparing / Posting Journals, Reversing Journals etc.)
- Running queries in a general ledger system
- Responding to internal and external auditor requests
- Proposing solutions to noted problems
- Documenting methodology, analysis and conclusions
- Prior Transition Experience
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to assess and interprets customer needs and requirements
- Ability to identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
- Ability to solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- History of progressively increasing responsibility in prior positions
- Ability to connect with SME onsite and do remote knowledge transfer, if required
- Solid communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics, PeopleSoft General Ledger/Smart view or similar general ledger/reporting tools
- Prior experience with Blackline
- Internal control compliance experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Access
