Vacancy for Procurement/Buyer:
Leading the product development for the entire women’s footwear portfolio.Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalManage and guide the factories/ designers and oversee the process end to end from research and visualizations of ideas, creation of concepts, creating the mood-boards, colour boards, deciding the silhouettes and creating the final sample.Decide the plan for the season, create a product calendar in coordination with the Ecomm team, and execute the planShould possess an understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business (this entails owning trend forecasting, understanding market gaps, opportunities & competition, along with a thorough understanding all technical aspects of product development in women’s footwear.Analyse developments from a technical perspective to study patterns and provide design specifications on material, color, print, fit etc.Able to get the MOQ at the best price from contract manufacturers. Reacting to sales Information and working with suppliers to revise production flows and maximize sales.Work with vendors on sourcing and buying of materials and creating appropriate samples for each product to maintain the quality standards and adhere to appropriate cost.Research styles of footwear needed for our target group, studying the past seasons, and predicting future trends. Product mix determined based on consumer and market analysisWorking on strategies to minimize cost through product reengineering and market research.Post QC, resolving returns with a strict timeline and sharing monthly report on the same.Inventory managementAnnual & Monthly operating planning (Revenue, margins, discounts, etc.)Range selection & development, assortment, option planning, and OTB report - category & seasonal planningAssortment Planning - Data Analysis, Insights Generation, Options Planning (Width, Depth)Maintaining thorough awareness of competition's product offerings - suppliers, cost, margin, etc.Conducts market visits (own stores and competitors ); analyzes the performance of various products and forecasts the market trends**Domain knowledge required for the job**Experience/exposure to e-commerce will be an advantage.Product expertise in women’s footwear is mandatory. Preferably worked with Metro/Cai/Oceedee/Strong experience and skills in cross-functional stakeholder management.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
