**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Edit long-form and short-form **podcast video content** for publishing on YouTube and social media platforms.
- Sync audio and video tracks, add lower-thirds, transitions, captions, and other visual elements as needed.
- Collaborate with the content and editorial teams to maintain consistency in style, tone, and brand identity.
- Manage post-production timelines to ensure quick turnaround without compromising quality.
- Organise and maintain a structured video file management system.
- Implement feedback quickly and efficiently to meet publishing schedules.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in **Filmora** and **DaVinci Resolve**.
- Strong understanding of podcast video formatting and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of audio editing and cleanup for speech-heavy content.
- Good sense of pacing, music, transitions, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple edits simultaneously.

**Nice to Have**:

- Prior experience in a **news or media organization**.
- Understanding of current affairs and editorial sensitivity.
- Familiarity with YouTube content optimization (thumbnails, captions, etc.).
